Wikiendi Live Nafasi-May 28th'16


On the last Saturday of the month this may, following the normal ChapChap at Nafasi artspace in Mikocheni Dar es Salaam. We witnessed the first dubbed 'wikiendi' live concert. With Jinong'ite and Swahili Ally on stage. Jinong'ite killed it and Swahili Ally is ever growing as an artist..

SOMA's celebration of Africa Day this year'16


On the late morning of 28th May, SOMA in celebrating Africa day, thought to invite it's followers for a round discussion on the book 'Silences in African History' by Jacques Depelchin. It was an epic discussion and soon I will write an article on it and share it with you. For now in pictures...

When Hyperpotamus entertained us at Makuti


Mnamo tarehe 26 Mei mwaka huu, pale mgahawani Makuti palikuwa na onyesho la pekee na msanii anayejiita 'Hyperpotamus' kutoka Spain. Kaka huyu ni mwimbaji na jukwaani hupanda mwenyewe, akiwa na kifaa cha 'loop station'. Ambacho humwezesha kurekodi papo kwa hapo na hivyo kuimba kama akiwa na vyombo mbali mbali, au kwaya jukwaani.

Licha ya kipaji hicho, Hyper pia alikuwa na mikwara ya kucheza iliyotuacha hoi pamoja na nguo aliovaa vyote vilifanya washabiki waburudike na onyesho lake la pekee. Aliletwa na hisani ya Ubalozi wa Spain hivyo kiingilio kilikuwa bure.
